Models now have a third visibility option, restricted. Anyone can see and run a restricted model on WriftAI's cloud, but only the owner can download it and run it locally.
What changed
Until now, a model was either public or private. Publishing a model for others to run meant letting them download it and run it locally too. Proprietary models had no good option in between.
Visibility | Who can see and run it | Who can download it and run it locally |
|---|---|---|
| Anyone | Anyone |
| Anyone, in the cloud | Only the owner |
| Only the owner | Only the owner |
You can choose restricted from the dashboard or the API, either when you create a model or by switching an existing one. New models still default to private.
