The Role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the WriftAI platform. In this role, you will work closely with Platform and Software Engineers to design resilient systems, improve observability, and establish best practices for operating distributed services at scale.

What You'll Do

Design and maintain systems to ensure high availability and reliability of production services.
Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Automate operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and operational overhead.
Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident reviews to improve system resilience.
Define and track service level objectives (SLOs) and error budgets.
Contribute to infrastructure and architecture decisions with a reliability-first mindset.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering roles.
Strong experience with Linux systems and cloud environments.
Familiarity with containerized workloads and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing).
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, or Bash.
Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.

Nice to have

Experience running high-availability, customer-facing services.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Knowledge of security best practices and incident response procedures.
Experience working in fast-moving startup environments.
