The Role

We’re looking for a Support Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support and guidance to developers using WriftAI. You’ll help customers troubleshoot issues, provide actionable recommendations, and improve their experience with our platform. In doing so, you’ll be a key voice in shaping our documentation, product feedback loops, and long-term success with real users.

This is a hands-on, customer-technical role — part support, part engineering, part community partnership.

What You'll Do

• Interact with developers and technical users to diagnose and resolve platform issues.
• Provide clear, helpful, and timely technical support via chat, email, and issue trackers.
• Troubleshoot API, deployment, and runtime problems in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Contribute to and improve documentation, guides, tutorials, and sample projects.
• Capture and share customer feedback with Product and Engineering to influence product improvements.
• Help build tools or scripts that reduce support friction and improve user experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in a technical support, developer support, SRE, or engineering role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on backend systems and developer workflows.
• Comfortable reading logs, debugging issues, and isolating causes across distributed systems.
• Familiarity with APIs, HTTP, command-line tools, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting developer platforms, APIs, or infrastructure products.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., compute, scaling, observability).
• Experience with logs, metrics, tracing, or debugging tools in production.
• Passion for improving developer experience through documentation and tooling.
